The construction project of the Yibin City Lianghai Tourism Expressway, from Bawangshan via Shihai to the boundary between Xuyong (Jiangmen), is located within the jurisdiction of Bawangshan Town, Xingwen County. The section from Bawangshan to Shihai is designed as a Class I highway with two-way four-lane traffic, featuring a design speed of 60 km/h. The integrated roadbed has a width of 23 meters, while the separated roadbeds each have a width of 2 × 11.25 meters; bridges and culverts are the same width as the roadbed. The project starts at the grade-separated intersection where the Yixu Expressway’s Bawangshan interchange connects to Ganyan Road in Bawangshan Town, Xingwen County, and ends near the Xinglongwan Bridge, where it merges with Yanxian Road. The starting and ending chainage points are K0+000 to K6+200, with a total route length of 6.2 kilometers.
